Christmas Specials
From 1 December, we’ll be serving our Christmas Specials, including festive pizzas, burgers and starters, alongside warming hot chocolates, mulled wine and plenty of other seasonal food. Gather around the table, settle in and enjoy the flavours of Christmas in the relaxed surroundings of The Cupola.
Make The Cupola part of your Christmas day out in the Peak District. After visiting one of the nearby Christmas markets at Chatsworth, Bakewell, Haddon Hall or Thornbridge, step away from the busiest crowds and settle in with us in Stoney Middleton. Our Christmas Specials, warming drinks and relaxed welcome keep the festive feeling going, with time and space to pause, talk and enjoy the season at your own pace.

Christmas Buffet
Our Christmas Buffet is made for festive get-togethers of every kind, from family gatherings and evenings with friends to work Christmas parties and end-of-year celebrations. Served Monday to Thursday evenings from 1–23 December, it brings everyone together around a generous spread of seasonal favourites in our relaxed Stoney Middleton setting.
For £35 per person, enjoy fresh focaccia and olives, festive pizzas, pigs in blankets, crispy roast potatoes, stuffing balls, roast chestnuts, sticky red cabbage, creamy bacon Brussels and festive scones. Christmas Breaks
Slow Christmas down with a stay in one of The Cupola’s four stylish, dog-friendly apartments in Stoney Middleton. Settle into your own one- or two-bedroom space, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge, and make it your welcoming base for a winter break shaped entirely around you.
Step out for crisp walks through the limestone dales, cycle the quiet Peak District lanes or head underground with an experienced local caving provider. Then return to heated coat and boot lockers, secure bike storage and the warmth of your apartment. You can also enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Cupola throughout your stay, apart from Christmas Day—or simply close the door, relax together and enjoy Christmas at a gentler pace.
